Spring is officially here and so are the dandelions. But they have a variety of uses, they can be used in salads and one local winery here even produces dandelion wine based on his great aunts recipe. Best viewed large

I've heard of dandelion wine but I've never seen a bottle before. There are everywhere around. I need to stop thinking of them as a weed.

I'm not ready for dandelions no matter what good they bring! :) Love the photo though ... with the bottle above it. Great job!

@bruni Thank you Bruni, it is an interesting wine, this is the sweet version and I can only sip a little as a dessert wine.

I have heard of dandelion wine but have never gotten the chance to try any. I always thought it sounded like it would be nice.
