Jim is retired Air Force and his group's historian. He has over 500 models of aircraft - some from kits, some he made - in his basement, which he was proud to show me. Best Viewed Large.

Oh my, what a collection! My friends husband had such a collection. Not sure what she did with all of them when he passed, so many people were wanting them. Like Jim, he built some from kits and some he made himself.

How cool. I loved making models when I was younger. Mostly cars of different types, but I had quite a few planes hanging from my ceiling too.
