@kerristephens Thank you Kerri, it lives up to its name :) @rhos Thank you Ann, when I taught in the College, I drove by here as a way to relax on my way to and from teaching @cbawernsen Thank you Corine, the Pine Barrens is one of the better places in New Jersey In 1988 the UN designated it as International Biosphere Reserve :)
@naomi Thank you Naomi, it is a nice serene place :) @mstipe Thank you Michelle, it is nice, quiet, and peaceful with only wildlife around. @maggiemae Thank you Maggie, that is why I have an all wheel drive car.
Henry are you still having hot and humid weather? here we feel the coming fall in the air. cool night and mornings. this morning it was only 13 degrees..brr we're not used to the cooler wetter yet. I had to laugh
when I read about the antics of the squirrels..that's exactly what we call their fun behavior. great shot at the right moment..
This comment was actually meant for your other picture I'm sure you're aware of. actually a bit of both as the humidity in the air was mention in the above picture.. it looks like a very nice place. love the reflection of the sky in the water and the yellow road.
@bruni Thank you Bruni, it is still very humid here and we are going up to 33 C for the next couple of days. Gail and I enjoy watching the squirrels antics, we have quite a few that we see every day - you have to be careful driving
@bruni Thank you Bruni, before I retired I would drive by here - but on the paved road, not the wood's trails - every day. It was about 40 km to the college I taught at and I would not see 25 cars.
@sangwann Thank you Dione, it is a very nice quiet place to gather your thoughts as you walk @myhrhelper Thank you Kathy, we have a lot of areas like this in inland southern New Jersey.
