Snow Monograms by homeschoolmom

Snow Monograms

I found these designs in the snow in our driveway yesterday after my husband backed out of the garage and drove away. He made a very cool design. It's a shame our last name doesn't start with an M! LOL!
Cool shot, or should I say "cold" shot. HeeHee.

Lisa, sometimes it just doesn't work out. But maybe they are mountain peaks and stand for climb ahead. LOL

@joansmor I'm hoping it moves me back to the mountains in the South where it's warmer! LOL!

Turn it upside down and you've got two W's. But that doesn't really help either! Good catch!

@olivetreeann If you turn it upside down, it's almost the flying WV symbol of West Virginia University......that works! LOL! Go Mountaineers!

@homeschoolmom I went to Bethany College, Bethany W.Va- just outside Wheeling. LOVE that state!!

@olivetreeann No way? My hubby and I both went to WVU in Morgantown. His family is from the eastern panhandle of WV, mine from Clarksburg. We used to pass through Wheeling sometimes on our way home and would always stop at he Cabelas there. But, we don't live west of there any more.

@homeschoolmom Small world! I fell in love with the Mountain State while in High School. I'd gone there with my youth group to a small mining town somewhere in the middle of the state (sorry I don't remember the name). Our youth pastor and the pastor of the church were friends from seminary. It was the first time I saw the Milky Way in all its glory, the results of strip mining and all its ugliness, and had breakfast with a chicken (long story!!). When my guidance counselor asked me what I was looking for in a college I replied, "I just want it to be in West Virginia." He thought I was nuts! But he helped me find colleges in West Virginia and I ended up at Bethany.

@olivetreeann It is a beautiful state. We would love to retire there some day on many acres out in the woods. My kids have never lived there, but they still consider it home, at least as much as anywhere else we have ever lived (and we lived in IL a long time).
