Local ice fishing

On our way to church this morning, my son noticed some ice fishing "tents" on a lake near our house. So, this afternoon, I braved the bitter cold winds to get a few pictures.

@joansmor Yes, I just about froze taking this picture and it was much warmer today than it has been. The wind was bitter cold, though.
@mittens Me, too! But, there are paths all over this lake from snow mobiles and people walking. It's a big lake, too.

I remember walking out on a frozen lake once and even though I knew full well it was safe, it was a bit disturbing hearing the water sloshing around underneath. I'm sure it can be heard when you're fishing too. Good shot!
