Lego my Patriots Helmet! by homeschoolmom

Lego my Patriots Helmet!

My husband is on spring break for the next 10 days, so today we decided to go to the big Bass Pro Shoppe in Foxborough, MA. Much to our surprise, it is right by Gillette Stadium where the New England Patriots play. So, we got to see the stadium, Hall of Fame, and Patriots Plaza (which is like an outside mall that wraps around the stadium, filled with lots of restaurants and shops).
Amazing artistic helmet. I have always loved Lego.

Never been there before, I lived in Ma before the Brady-Belichick era. This is a fun post.

I'm amazed at what can be constructed with Lego blocks!

@anazad511 @swilde @ceilidh @lynnilou @paulam Thanks!
@lifepause Yes it is. We've lived around 3 NFL cities, and the other two have nothing like this. We were amazed. Totally fabulous spot to visit. Great shops and restaurants, too.

@luvmynynix Legos are awesome until you step on one! LOL!

@luvmynynix @homeschoolmom I missed Legos entirely as a child. I just discovered them this winter and I've fallen in love, love, love. They're like jigsaw puzzles with instructions! I've yet to step on one, but I've heard about the pain, so I've trying to be very very careful and not leave any lying about for my husband to tread upon. A childless man who marries a childless woman should not have to experience that!

@homeschoolmom I could tolerate team sports until I was forced to play them in school. I was an unpopular child to begin with, and being bad at sports intensified my unpopularity, and our PE program was just about exclusively sports. As a result, I now literally leave the room with a football or baseball gave come on. You have finally found a piece of sports memorabilia that I can relate to!

@therubysusan Glad I could give you a piece of football you like! LOL!

@homeschoolmom :-) I have to show my husband this one. Maybe I can save up my nickles and dimes, buy enough Legos, and make him a Steeler's one!

Great Lego creation! My grandson does the kits, mostly Star Wars. My boys used to make pirate ships, submarines, trains. My daughter did Harry Potter. So much magic with Legos.
