Fun afternoon! I got to go to the warehouse to pick the granite for our kitchen counter tops. They had 3 giant slabs of granite (weighing about 1300 pounds each) called Yellow River from Brazil waiting for me to see. I liked these two "matching" cuts (bottom left two pictures) because of the unusual details they had (middle two and bottom right pictures). You can't tell from the pictures, but there are actually some red areas, which I was told are rubies in the granite. Next step, off to the fabricator next week to see the layout to make sure my favorite part (middle left picture) is part of my island. Well worth the hour plus drive to Raleigh today. I can't wait to see it in my kitchen.
@joansmor I hope so. It was kind of dusty from sitting outside and had bird droppings on it.
@linnypinny @paintdipper @swilde @paulam Thanks!
@digitalrn LOL! Thanks!
