My son played nose guard on defense during this morning's scrimmage games. I have many pictures of him locked up with two boys at once. Go Sanford Sting.
@joansmor He likes it now! LOL! @olivetreeann Thankfully, when the real games start, they will wear numbered jerseys. They didn't want to wear them for this because they didn't want other other team "scouting" their good players. Several of the teams opted to wear their practice jerseys. Personally, I prefer when they wear their own jerseys to practice, so you can pick them out. But this team has a different color practice jersey for each team, so you can tell the teams apart. It's really hard to tell them apart when they are so close in size, too.
@bill_fe He's used to blocking kids bigger than him, so he did pretty well, especially considering that this team was bad about holding (and the one boy is clearly holding him in this picture). @swilde Yes, it can be. A lot of rules to learn. @dide Thanks! @skippysue Thanks!
@digitalrn He's growing so much, I can't believe it. In fact, yesterday I asked him who was yelling "huddle" after the offensive plays. He just gave me a funny look and said, "Me.. The center always does that." He's been center for many years. It didn't even sound like him! His voice was deeper and louder! Who is this kid? LOL!
