...in North Carolina. My six word story for today as the trees near my house have finally turned enough to make for a pretty picture....or three. I guess they don't care that it's still nearly 80 degrees outside! LOL!
@thresheg Thanks so much for the FAV! @mittens These trees must be the same kind of hardwood. So far, this is all the color we see, course we do have a ton of pine.
@genealogygenie Last year by the end of Oct. in NH, it was already starting to snow some and all the leaves were gone. This year, it still feels like summer and only a few leaves have turned.
@homeschoolmom It was 80 degrees in Kansas yesterday. Leaves are finally turning but the peak color is probably still about a week away. You're probably enjoying the warmer fall weather this year.
@genealogygenie I am absolutely enjoying this warm weather, but everyone else in my family is wishing it would hurry up and get cold. LOL! @kwind@joemuli@paulam@jennywren@pdulis Thanks! @ladygator Not much color here either. These trees have just changed color in the past couple of days. When you turn into our subdivision there is a tree lined street. I'm waiting for it to change, but so far not one sign of color there. If it ever does change, it will be a beautiful picture.
@ceilidh Thanks so much for the FAV! @skippysue@digitalrn@lynnilou Thanks, so far, we just have a few red trees in our neighborhood, no yellow ones at all. Maybe they are next. Most of the trees are still green.
