Flying into the sunset!

As we passed through southwestern Virginia today, I couldn't get over the number of jet trails across the sky. At sunset, just before we crossed into NC, the jet trails were glowing.

@randystreat We saw this sunset and trails somewhere between Lynchburg and Danville. The other ones were when we were on I-81 between Strasbourg and Staunton.

@homeschoolmom I saw them in North Wilkesboro and as far home as the sun was still shining. However, as the sun set more, they weren't as gorgeous.

@randystreat You were a bit further west than we were. But, you are right. During the day the white lines crossing the sky as we drove through VA were spectacular. It's a shame the car windows were covered in road salt!
