Tree skirt under construction! by homeschoolmom

Tree skirt under construction!

My tree skirt project has begun. All the pieces are cut out. The top has even been ironed and is ready for me to sew together.
Great fabric choices! Nice shot.

That's a lot of ambition for this time of year.

Gosh what a serious construction. Well done, mines a sheet of wrapping paper if we are lucky! You are certainly very busy with your Christmas decorations, it will all look wonderful. Great shot to show your efforts.

very camo. Reading through the comments makes me think that I often find peace in doing wierd and unneccasry and time-consuming projects when life is hectic and busy. I think it calms the nerves and proves something about the elasticty of time.

@susale @overalvandaan Thanks!
@joansmor Never a quite moment at our house! LOL!
@jennywren Our tree is huge. I don't think a sheet of wrapping paper would do it....although I thought about it! LOL!
@francoise I agree. Last night, my husband had a computer problem at work and he was there until after midnight. I watched Christmas movies and worked on this....very relaxing!

Isn't it fun making a tree skirt, I did an applique version for my daughter and her husband a couple of years ago. Have fun putting it all together
