Giant birch tree in a ball! by homeschoolmom

Giant birch tree in a ball!

The Kiwanis Family Park has giant birch trees that have barely begun to turn golden, but are losing their leaves. This one was massive. There were 6 large trunks sprouting from a single base and they were easily 50 feet tall.
Fabulous...Fav

Hi Lisa, @homeschoolmom we got paired together for get pushed this week... so.. I was looking this beautiful picture and I checked out your list of challenges and I don't see this particular one,, so, how about trying dutch angles for your challenge this week? Wiki writes that "The Dutch angle, also known as Dutch tilt, canted angle, oblique angle or German angle, is a type of camera shot where the camera is set at an angle on its roll axis so that the shot is composed with vertical lines at an angle to the side of the frame, or so that the horizon line of the shot is not parallel with the bottom of the camera frame.

In cinematography, the Dutch angle is one of many cinematic techniques often used to portray psychological uneasiness or tension in the subject being filmed."

There are lots of youtube vids and links on this style of photography, here's one - http://www.ultimatephotoguide.com/dutch-angle-composition/

Hope this is ok with you, just let me know if you prefer something else. I l look forward to seeing your picture.
