Was out trimming the trees in the yard Saturday and found this nest with an egg. A little while later, I realized there was a dove in the tree. So, we're getting a baby dove. How exciting. As I was trimming the tree and taking the picture, mama dove was up on the neighbor's roof where she had a good view of her nest. I had to go out several hours later to get the picture of her sitting in her nest.
Love it. We used to have doves that nested in a hanging thing on our front porch every year and then a couple of years ago, the sparrows ran them off... they were fighting over the nest. So much fun to watch the doves.

Hi Lisa. Looking back through your project I really like this photo http://365project.org/homeschoolmom/365/2016-02-10 and you mentioned in a comment that there were many other old buildings in your neighbourhood. So what about a challenge to take one or more photos of an old building this week?
