Phew. It only took me from early January to the end of April to finish the quilt top of my niece's quilt. It's HUGE - 90x106 inches (2.3 m x 2.7 m). It will easily fit a king size bed. Took both of my boys to hold it up for me, even then they had to hold it sideways. Today, I have to put the edging on it, which isn't going to be easy since it doesn't have straight sides, layer on the felt batting and fit the back....and sew it all together. Then the hand quilting can begin.
