For the One Night Stand 6, here's some macro shots of my favorite Christmas ornaments -- a hand painted Army Snowman from 2011 when my hubby was deployed to Iraq, my West Virginia Santa that we've had forever, one of my crystal ornaments from Germany, and the zoo symbol from the St. Louis Zoo, our favorite zoo of all time.

I love pulling out my ornaments because there is a story to each one. I have ornaments that belonged to my grandparents so they are probably 100 years old. So I can appreciate you photos.

@sarasdadandmom Especially this one. It has the dates of my hubby's deployment to Iraq that year, because his unit from Indy was in charge of shutting down everything and pulling all the troops out. He wasn't supposed to be home for Christmas, but they got everyone out a few weeks earlier than expected so he made it home Dec. 23.
