@joansmor We are close to the shore, so I'm sure they do. I don't really like fried seafood, though. I like it without breading. I don't think I ate anything other than some fried calamari when we were in New England. @amandal We can't get enough of them. @quietpurplehaze We just eat them as a side dish with whatever meat we are having for dinner. Great with pork chops, steak or even fried chicken. A lot of restaurants serve them as appetizers. They are easy to make. Just slice them, dip them in a mixture of beaten egg, salt and pepper. Coat in flour or bread crumbs. Fry in butter or olive oil until browned and tomato is soft.
