Play in the rain, you won't melt!

A local mall has some fabulous real-life statues of children spread throughout the outdoor mall area. This one of a child playing in the rain is one of my favorites. "The secret to live is enjoying the passage of time..." playing in rain is one way to enjoy life. For Song Challenge Secret O' Life.
We needed it. Everything has been quite dry

@digitalrn We haven't had much rain this fall either. It poured it down twice today when we were out. It rained so hard we almost had to pull over on the interstate because you just could not see a thing. I have never experienced that in the middle of the afternoon.

This is a great capture of a fascinating sculpture. I love how the artist has made so much of the sculpture appear wet! Fav

@homeschoolmom Get used to that kind of rain, common in the south. Happened many a time when I lived in Florida. Then the sun comes out and moments later the water is gone. Love this adorable statue.

@ceilidh Thanks so much for the FAV!. There is a water fountain built into it and it had rained earlier, so it probably was wet.

@joansmor We had pop up storms all summer. It would rain hard for 15 minutes and the sun would come back out. But, this rain was harder than when that hurricane went through last month. I have never seen it rain so hard for so long that I couldn't see during the middle of the day.

@paulam @sarasdadandmom @linnypinny Thanks!
@olivetreeann Yes, I want to shoot some more of them. There is one that's a water fountain with kid statues playing in it. It's very cute. But, the mall area was mostly closed except for restaurants and they were herding people to their cars. Makes me wonder what was going on, because there was a ton of security and police there.
