Something's been eating on my rose bush and I suspect it's the Japanese beetle, often called a June bug because they tend to show up in June, that was hiding out in one of my roses. Also for today's word, macro!
I hats Japanese beetles! Common names are famously confusing. Where I'm from Japanese beetles (Popillia japonica) are metalic green and and June bugs are dull brown. I'm not crazy about them, either!
@therubysusan We seem to have both at the moment! Bugs are bad here. @randystreat Yes, they sure do. @lbingle365 When we lived in IL, we had this red bush in front of our house and they stripped it bare every summer. Could not keep them off that bush.
