My daughter forgot her jacket in the church van last Thursday when we went to Charlotte. Today we drove to the church to get it so she could practice driving. While we were there, it poured the rain down. This river of water and sand came from the upper parking lot, which isn't paved, and formed in about 10 minutes. Needless to say, I wasn't happy to see this river between me and my van, especially since it was still pouring down the rain. But, I decided since I was already soaked (it wasn't raining when we went in, so I left my rain jacket in the van), I pulled out my phone for a quick picture as my daughter waded through the river.
