As I was standing at the kitchen sink, I thought I saw a little bird fly over the fence, but it was this large black swallowtail butterfly. It was big enough that it actually made some of the dandelions bend from it weight when it landed on them. I was able to zoom in close enough to see the pollen on its face and wings.
