This boy is also in my sons' Boy Scout troop. I just can't seem to get a decent photo of him. Not sure if it's him or me. He's a really cute kid, but you'd never know it from the pictures I've taken of him.
I think this is good for your circumstances. Looks like floodlights on the soccer field which make it difficult for anyone to get good photos. Perhaps some fill in flash would help.
