This is one of my favorite Russian lacquered boxes, which are actually made our of paper mache. I thought that since the Olympics were going on in Sochi, Russia, and they talked about Troikas in the Opening Ceremonies, I'd do my "selective color" shots for B&W Book Club of this lacquered box, so everyone can see what it looks like in full color.
