Red Trillium!

Third time is a charm with trillium. I saw one with a bloom, one partially open, then this one that was fully open.

@ceilidh Thanks so much for the FAV! White trillium is one of the national flowers of some areas of Canada. I found this red one growing in northern NH, about an hour south of the Canada border. I had never seen one either. only the white ones in my kids' 5th grade science book! LOL!

@joansmor Thanks, I had to take many shots to get one totally in focus. Hard to get auto focus to focus sharply on a plant swaying in the breeze! LOL!

Wow--clarity, detail and focus are excellent! (I can relate to the problems of capturing total focus in a breeze--that's tough.) The colors and composition are both superb and it's a FAV!
