Avalance Falls is at the top of a narrow gorge known as Flume Gorge in Franconia Notch State Park in the White Mountains of NH. Beautiful park. But, they are still putting the board walks backs. A small section up to the top of the gorge was closed because a large chunk of ice still hangs high above it on the wall of the gorge. You can see a chunk of ice behind my husband a boys, but it's below the boardwalk.
@swilde@paulam@pinkpaintpot@digitalrn@mittens@elisasaeter@bencho@mauriciorodriguez Thanks everyone. It was a beautiful park and the air did smell great, even though it was a little cold. Worth the extra allergy pills! LOL! Much preferable to a day in the city, that's for sure. @lynnilou Thanks! The air smelled fabulous. So clean. Not much in that area except nature! @joansmor My daughter wasn't so happy about it either, she didn't want to get wet. LOL! We visited many waterfalls on this trip, she got very wet at Niagara! She was not at all happy about it!
