It was nearly 100 degrees F when I went for my 2-mile walk yesterday morning about 11 a.m. This tiny little bit of shade about halfway around my route is all the shade I encountered this morning. Good thing I put on my sunscreen before I left home. Thankfully, there was a slight breeze blowing which was occasionally cooler than the actual temperature outside. If June is this hot, I can't imagine what August is going to be like. Last summer was not this hot.
We've had temps in the 90's already--that's unusual for Ohio. I'm worried about summer, too! A person really learns to appreciate the shade in the heat of summer--great shot, Lisa!
Wowzers, that's hot! :P
We've had quite a few upper 80's and a few lower 90's days already, which is hot to us wimpy Western Washingtonions. I'm kinda glad that I'm gonna miss most of this summer, and that it doesn't get to the 100's more than a couple times during a regular summer here!
