We had 12 straight days of rain and heavy clouds and got something like 7.5 inches of rain. Thankfully Hurricane Joaquin didn't dump another 5 or 6 inches of rain on us the last couple of days, else we would have bad flooding, like they have in South Carolina. I was so happy to see the little sliver of moon and some starts in the sky early this morning when my neighbor's dogs woke me up, that I almost couldn't go back to sleep! LOL! The sun is warming it up again. This morning, I found the cat downstairs in the living room window enjoying the warm sunshine.
@leananiemand@linnypinny We have gotten a little spoiled living here in NC. We almost always have blue skies and sunshine, even in the winter. So, to go 12 days without it, .... Yikes! LOL!
