Yesterday my hubby and boys spent the day in the woods hunting. On their way home, they realized they left the truck's tailgate down and pulled off the road to make sure they didn't lose all their stuff that was in the back of the truck. Stuff was still there, but because it has rained all week, they got stuck in the mud. A teenage boy came by and took our teenage son to our house just a mile up the road to get the ramps we used to put stuff in the back of the truck. They used those to help get the truck unstuck. Took them a while. My daughter and I turned onto the main road by our house to see two trucks sitting in the road. I thought one had hit a deer or something. My daughter realized it was her dad. We got there just after they got out of the mud. Boy, is the truck a mess. But, they enjoyed every minute of it! LOL!
@salza Thankfully, it rained all day Monday, so it's clean again! LOL! @zosimasy Absolutely, he didn't lose their gear or have to pay a tow truck. And he got to help some another truck and a church van who got stuck at a church down from our subdivision on Monday night. Wet and mucky here. Glad the sun came out today. @digitalrn They love every minute of it! LOL!
