Tonight we drove nearly an hour to eat "the best" ice cream in NC. It's a little country store by a dairy farm. They sold homemade ice cream, milk, chocolate milk, cheese and eggs. The inside of the store wasn't very big and it was very hot inside. We stood in line for more than a half hour to get our ice cream. I have to say, it was worth it. I had a scoop of honey lavender and a scoop of chocolate. Both were great. The store had a long porch filled with rocking chairs so you can set, eat your ice cream and enjoy the view of the sun setting over the diary farm. It was very relaxing. The place was still quite busy past closing time.
