While at Boy Scout camp last week, my son learned a valuable skill when he made his kilt - sewing. So, when his "Catching Deers" patch fell off his hat, he had the skill to put it back on. Took him nearly an hour, but he sewed it on.
Love his determination! I've taught my girls and myself to sew, and my middle son is keen to learn. Some say it's a dying art, but I think it's greatly beneficial. He'll appreciate it if he keeps it up :)
