I convinced my two friends to go to this German Oktoberfest cooking class at Sur la Table this afternoon. Good thing, I did, else I'd been in the class alone. I was surprised, because the other classes I've taken were sold out. We learned a lot, had a fun afternoon and ate some great schnitzel, spätzle and braised red cabbage that we cooked. And, I bought a spätzle grater to make the homemade spätzle. My hubby and boys are going to enjoy this purchase!
