Six+ years ago, we replaced the countertops. Finally two years ago, I found a backsplash I liked and installed it last summer. Last fall, I found electrical outlets, switches and covers to match the slate backsplash. And yesterday, I was finally able to convince my hubby to switch them out. Did I mention that it's his least favorite activity? He's made me promise that if I redo the next house, we hire someone to do this job.
