When Congress declared that recorded music could be used for veteran funerals, Bugles Across America was formed in 2000. The organization keeps a database of buglers across the country who are willing to play at military events and funerals for free. This guy lives in Raleigh, but drove an hour to play the National Anthem and Taps for the 9-11 ceremony in Johnsonville. He was even nice enough to change the key of the National Anthem at the last minute, so it was in a range that I could sing.
