Tryon Palace by homeschoolmom

Tryon Palace

When the British government mandated that Royal Governor Tryon establish a capital in the North Carolina Colony, he had this palace built in New Bern, NC, just a few years before the Revolutionary War. Only two Royal Governors occupied the palace before being ousted by the revolution. This is not the original palace. It was built in 1950 based on the original blue prints, and built on the foundation that was found.
Now that's s real renovation of love
