Sweet potatoes: good for your heart!

I bought this locally grown red sweet potato (they also have white sweet potatoes, but I haven't tried one of those) several weeks ago. It's huge and will easily feed 3 people. I guess I left it in the pantry too long. Not only did it sprout, but it grew this very cute heart-shaped leaf. My kids want to cute the end of it off and plant it in the yard, so we can grow our own red sweet potatoes! LOL! For my Six Word Story!

That's so cute. We have sweet potato vines that grow here and are so pretty, but I don't believe they actually grow a potato. I'd give yours a shot.

This is really quite pretty. Love the color and shine on the leaf and stem/sprout as well as the color and texture of the sweet potato. I vote Plant it.
