While we were at The Biltmore the other day, they had an exhibit of movie wedding attire, called Fashionable Romance. The dresses and formal wear were in every room on the tour. I got pictures of most of them and made this "poster."
@olivetreeann There were dresses from Pride and Prejudice, Out of Africa, Frankenstein, Hamlet, Madame Bovary, Christabel, and many others. The only two I'm really certain of are the first two on top. The first is Jackie Kennedy's grandmother's gown, and the second belongs to G.W. Vanderbilt's daughter. Apparently Jackie Kennedy's cousin married one of the grandsons, so the two families are connected.
