Dandelion

065 - By the time I got organised to go out today, I'd missed any chance of finding any sunshire, as you can see from the rain droplets on the petals of this dandelion. Still, at least the lovely yellow does bring a hint of sunshine with it!

Quite a few flowers classed as weeds can be quite attractive I suspect that the main difference between a cultivated plant and a weed is that weeds are easy to grow and cultivated plants are hard!

The Dandelions have been so nice this year, you see them at there best on the grass verges ---such a lovely yellow.

There are places on the flood banks on Clifton Ings where they form extensive carpets - they certainly add something to the views.
