Clover by if1

Clover

132 - Some days just don't go according to plan. My original intention was to walk into the city centre to take some shots of more of the historic buildings, but I ran out of time for that.

Then I remembered a lovely display of lichen on bushes on Clifton Ings, so I thought I would go and get some shots of that, only to find that the bushes are now virtually inaccessible due to thistles and nettles having grown so much.

So here is idea three - clover on part of the flood bank!
Still a worthwhile visit !

Beautiful close up!

Lovely focus. Close-ups do reveal the intricate beauty of even out common native flowers.

@collin

I agree, but the final result was a long way from my original intention! - however I'm quite pleased with the result.

I agree - it's fascinating how much colour there is in 'white' clover!
