135 - Standing immediately across the road from York Minster, St Michael le Belfrey Church is barely noticed by many visitors as they focus their attention on the Minster.
The present building was constructed between 1525 and 1526 to replace an earlier building of 1294. It is most famous as the place where Guy Fawkes (who would later try to blow up Parliament) was baptised.
The interior has traditional wooden pews, and some very attractive stained glass.
So why did I chose this as my subject for today? - the blue sky, a rare sight here in recent weeks. It really was that blue, this is SOOC!
