213 - Lucy was busy at the University today, so I took the opportunity to do a walk, along the Glasson Branch of the Lancaster Canal, then along a disused railway along the Lune Estuary towards Lancaster.
Much of the walk was in nice sunshine, but there were a couple of heavy showers, and it was very wet underfoot - in fact I had to abandon the disused railway eventually when it disappeared under water!
The berries here were beside the disused railway, and I took the shot after a heavy downpour, hence the water drops.
Thank you Junan - I couldn't resist the berries against that background!
Thank you Tony - I'm not a great fan of walking in the rain either - but it was lovely when I started the walk!
Thank you Netkonnexion - I think the walk along the estuary is probably one of my favourite lowland walks anywhere!
Thank you Jen - the drops caught my eye, but I didn't enjoy the rain that created them!!
Thank you Brian!
Thank you Roslyn - I liked the drops but not the rain that created them!
Thank you Marie - I loved these berries against the light background.
Thank you Petaqui - you're right, not quite sharp, but sadly the best I could do in the poor conditions.
Thank you Tanja - I liked the drops but not the rain that created them!
Thank you Pyrrhula - I liked the drops but not the heavy rain that created them!
Thank you Debra - glad you like it!
Thank you Frida - I liked the water drops, but not the rain that created them!
Thank you Kristin, glad you like it!
