Autumn colour

232 - Today was a grey day - dull and grey - so a walk to the Homestead Park to look at the progress that autumn is making in transforming the greens to oranges, reds yellows and browns.

These leaves caught my eye near the park entrance, and although I took quite a few shots inside the park, this was the shot that I preferred.

Did you desaturate the background? Because looks like and gives a really nice contrast

Thank you Petaqui, I didn't desaturate the background, but it is a bit overexposed because the red leaves were in the shade.
