335 - Having spent the last week sharing with you shots from the Residents Festival, it's time to come more up to date.
The past week has seen floods in a few parts of York city centre again. I thought I had probably already shared more than enough flood shots with you over the last 11 months, so here is a slightly different take.
Clifton Ings can be deliberately flooded to reduce the height of a serious flood in the city centre, and here is a shot across the flood water diverted here. I took a similar shot to this one evening last November which included a brief explanation of how the flood water diversion works - http://365project.org/if1/365/2012-11-29
This shot was taken during an afternoon walk yesterday, a beautifully sunny but cold day. It was lovely to see the play of sun on water as we walked along the eastern flood bank, but not surprisingly, it turned out to be a very muddy walk!
Thank you all for your support and encouragement, and a particular thank you for the favs. This is a lovely place for a local walk, and I'm pleased to have been able to show something of it's beauty.

Thank you all for your kind comments, and thank you for the fav Debra!
Thank you Kd, I do love the walk along the flood banks!
