Practice shot of falling water; I wanted to make a shot with a large aperture to make the water look like stripes instead of droplets. On the pillar on the right you see a kingfisher that I totaly overlooked and I hit my self in the head for.
The ISO speed is just ludicrous as I forgot to readjust after shooting inside.
This water is near my home on the way to the supermarket. In older times this was part of a waterway to the big city and to the Rhine. A lot of supplies came by boat, untill lorry trucks made this obsolete. Parts of these old waterways have been demolished for land to build on, so it is now impossible to either go by rowingboat to the big city, or to the rhine.
