@summerfield thanks, I liked the lighting too...this is a personal challenge for me to learn lighting better...I am self taught in most things photographic...use youtube a lot and I think because of my age maybe it takes me some time to grasp concepts but I am working on it!
@jackies365 - same here. everything i learned in photography, i learned it here on 365. but there are some things i know i can't do so i would attempt them once, and if i can't do it to my own satisfaction, i don't beat myself over it. we have to know our limitations. if we keep on beating ourselves to excel, we aren't going to be happy, right?

That part about using something yellow in the picture would be the most challenging for me! This tassel filled the bill though. Nicely arranged.
The city of Galesburg does a pretty good job of presenting an attractive setting. Things have been tough for them since two major industries packed up and moved out of country over a decade ago, but they're making a comeback thanks to their diehard determination.
