what a difference a day makes. transported to a Japanese garden today. took two years to create and opened this year and they are still filling in the water with water lilies and lotus plants. beautiful!

@mpomm41740 @snaphappi @kali66 @365projectlinda @flygirl @madamelucy @lisamccloskey @nicoleterheide @sgianettoni @vstap @birdy @skipt07 @rieva @jillhempsall @kimdavis thank you everyone. these were so lovely they caught our eyes on the tour of the gardens and I was so hoping to get back to photograph them we took my sister for a quick trip before her last chemo treatment for this round as she is really having difficulties recently with handling it. this also means we couldn't do a lot of walking in the sun. fortunately she had a hood and sunscreen and we made it through enough of the gardens to get this one. next year maybe the trip will include some open ones. they are just building up the amount of these in the lake. It is an amazing place to go! I really appreciate all of your kind words, critiques and favs.

One of my favourite flowers. So beautifully done. Can't wait for the one in my pond to revive after winter is over.
