In the downtown area of a nearby town where I went to do a photo challenge of sitting in one spot and shooting just from there. I will admit this was after I had spent my time in one spot. I couldn't get the sign of the theater so I moved to take a few more shots : )
Love this Jackie. I am your Get-pushed partner this week. I read your list of challenges. You haven't done my favorite. Recreate or take in the style of one of your favorite 365'rs. This is one I always get amazing results. Hope you like it. My list of challenges needs updating. I am going to ask you to be easy as I am getting ready for a trip and photo time will be limited.
I especially like the "All Seats $3.00". Nice price. The neon lighting shows up nicely despite it yet being daylight. Interesting challenge, photographing from only one place. That would definitely be a challenge.
@lyndemc@henrir@dmcoile@lisamccloskey thanks! we have a few of these old theaters around that show old films (and new sometimes) at very reasonable prices! this town was so filled with activity this afternoon and the weather was so pleasant...it was fun to be out shooting!
Love old theaters like these. I will have to shoot the one in San Luis Obispo where I work. They have a very pretty theater once night falls. They also have a drive in still in operation, may have to shoot that one too.
