tried to get people to take advantage of this day
(it's gorgeous here) for photos, but hunting season started so it was a no go. so Freddie makes another appearance!
Lovely doggie portrait :D If I was going to be super critical, I kinda wish his eyes were a little lower down in the image (probably on the third line actually!) but it is lovely as it is :)
@missalice thanks Alice. the shoot was a trial with my 10-20mm super wide angle. the forepaw thing was what I was going for. traditionally I would have put his eyes there. Freddie added the curled back paw himself...world's smartest dog...oh and the treat was at lens top hence the look slightly up. he doesn't pose just for nothin'! lol!!!
Chin hairs!!! I love whiskers and chin hairs!!! Hi! I'm your get pushed partner this week. You seem to be willing to learn new things, so I thought I'd challenge you to something that may seem simple, but actually takes a little work. I'd like to challenge you to photograph something round, like a ball or something ball shaped, and make the roundness of it very obvious, meaning it appears 3 dimensional in the photograph. You would need a diffuser, easily homemade with two pieces of pvc pipe, or something similar. An example of what I'm talking about can be found at this link: https://haroldrossfineart.wordpress.com/2011/12/05/light-painting-tips-and-technique-the-shape-of-things/
Are you in? :-)
