this is one of the little off-shoots of a queen annes lace flower. the technique of double exposure with one focused shot combined with a slightly out of focus shot came from a class I watched by Kathleen Clemons a wonderful flower photographer http://kathleenclemonsphotography.com/?/page/9cf2/flowers/
absolutely love this jackie. it has turned out so beautifully - just the perfect combination of focus and blur. your link took me to kathleen's home page rather than the exact class. is the technique explained in the long demo that i and others posted last week (i haven't got to the end of it yet!)?
@pistacheI didn't see your post about a demo. Her class was on Creative Live and I watched the whole 4 hour class live. Sometimes they replay it but the idea is gor you to purchase it if you like it after it has been shown live. They always have some photography related video playing that you can watch. Her class was called
@pistache the same photographer but the class I watched is new. I don't know if she discusses what I did in the one you posted but it simply is a double exposure with one slightly out of focus. Camera in same spot. I even did it hand held. Lots of luck on this one for me!
not sure if it's the same one? pointed out to me by Lyn @todd and Jane @jgpittinger
