after my friend's final chemo we had lunch and took a walk around Fair Lane, the home of Henry Ford and his wife Clara. The Rouge River runs behind it and it has a waterfall used for power in the home. due to renovations (it was purchased by the University of Michigan) there is no access to the side where you can see the waterfall but the calm water on this side of it made for beautiful early fall color!
