went to the jazz festival in detroit last night. detroit has become a city with lots of bicycles sharing the busy streets with cars and pedestrians. there are ones to rent too. the jazz festival has been in existence for more years than I can remember and it was the first time I had gone in years. super crowded but fun. as I had chased after my nephew all day my photography was limited by my lack of energy so I didn't travel a lot from my spot on a cement stansion. these bikes with the crowd and lights in the background were my shot of the festival for the night! suited for black and white with the jazzy hip vibe of the evening and the late hour!
