apparently Henry Ford was a violin player and aficionado and owned several fine violins including a Stradivari, a Giuseppe, a Guarneri and a Bergonzi. They have all been repaired, preserved, and put on permanent display in the museum in Dearborn, MI. I don't know which one this is...didn't think to find out that bit of information when at the museum today.
@kevin365 thanks Kevin, I appreciate the comments and fav! trying to be more creative...this is something I struggle with hence the focus point is different than what I normally would have done.
Nice! The colors in this shot are very eye catching. I went to that museum many times as a young person. Nice to know it is still there, and being cared for.
@vstap@melston@lyndemc@aat3877 thanks for the comments and fav! Museum lighting is wonderful to photograph in! I was surprised at the idea of Henry Ford playing a violin as well! He certainly was an interesting man as were most of the big money men of that time. Marci the museum and village have expanded and changed so much and have the addition of the Automotive Hall of Fame...new adventures every time you visit!
